The Hope for Kids team visited Marange Cluster today and conducted a menstrual health program at Mount Makomwe Primary hosted by the United Methodist Revrend Kachidza and the United Methodist Ministry of Women, Youth and Children. A total number of 23 people attended the training program. The program covered essential topics such as personal hygiene, relationships, menstrual health, drug abuse, and ending child marriages. Participants also received hands-on training sewing reusable sanitary pads, learning practical skills to improve their menstrual health and creating products for entrepreneurship purposes. An interactive question and answer session was held, allowing attendees to clarify doubts, share ideas, and learn from each other's experiences, fostering a supportive environment to promote better menstrual health practices. The session aimed to empower attendees with knowledge and skills to promote health, well-being, and economic opportunities.

Tashinga attended the TIZ multi-stakeholder dialogue this April 2026 at Holiday Inn Conference Room, representing Hope for Kids Zimbabwe. The meeting brought together civil society and development partners to discuss corruption enablers, whistleblowing challenges, the role of media, and progress on the Whistle-blower and Witness Protection Bill. Key discussions highlighted the need for stronger legal protection, safe reporting channels, and better safeguards for whistle-blowers. The dialogue also emphasized gender-sensitive approaches, digital security, and public awareness in the fight against corruption. We remain committed to supporting accountability, transparency, and community voices in Zimbabwe.
