🌸 HAPPY MENSTRUAL HEALTH DAY! 🌸

Today, we celebrate menstrual health, dignity, education, and empowerment for all girls and women around the world. Menstruation is natural — and no one should face shame, stigma, discrimination, or barriers because of their period.

At Bright Girls Movement and My Period Period! Talkshow with Nyasha Manzou, we continue to advocate for a world where every girl and woman has access to menstrual health information, products, safe spaces, and support.

Let us work together to break the silence, challenge myths, and create communities where periods are understood, respected, and supported.

💜 Happy Menstrual Health Day!
Together, we can build a future where no girl is left behind because of her period.

🩸 YOUR PERIOD. YOUR CHOICE. YOUR POWER. 💜

When it comes to menstrual products, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Every body is different, and what works for one person may not work for another. The most important thing is having access to safe, affordable, and informed choices that help you manage your period with comfort, confidence, and dignity.

From pads, tampons, and panty liners to menstrual cups and reusable cloth pads, each product has its own benefits and challenges. Menstrual health is about choice, education, and access — not shame or stigma.

✨ Here are a few reminders:
✔️ Choose what feels comfortable for your body
✔️ Change products regularly to stay healthy and hygienic
✔️ Explore sustainable options if they work for your lifestyle
✔️ Carry a spare product and track your cycle to stay prepared
✔️ Remember: there is no “perfect” product — only what works best for you

At Bright Girls Movement, PADHUB, and My Period, Period Talk Show, we believe every girl deserves access to menstrual products, accurate information, and the freedom to manage her period with dignity.

Because periods are normal, choices matter, and every girl deserves options. 🌸

This year, in commemoration of Mother’s Day 2026, I decided to do something close to my heart ❤️

I asked a few of my friends to join me in pampering some widows from my church as a small way of showing love and appreciation. I am so excited that we managed to put together self-care packages for them. It may not be much, but this is my little way of expressing gratitude to women who have nurtured, guided, and inspired so many of us.

I always say I have so many bonus moms, and for that, I am forever grateful. 💐

I am honestly so excited — and imagine, I even managed to do a vlog for the first time 😂🙈! I’ll be posting it soon, so stay tuned… you’ll definitely see it here.

To all mothers, grandmothers, guardians, and mother figures out there: Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for your love, wisdom, sacrifices, and care. I truly appreciate you because, in one way or another, you have helped mold me into the person I am today. ❤️

🩸 PERIOD POVERTY IS REAL — AND IT AFFECTS MORE THAN JUST PERIODS 🩸

Period poverty is not only about lacking pads. It is also about limited access to accurate menstrual health information, safe spaces, support, and dignity. Every month, many girls miss school, struggle with confidence, and face shame simply because they cannot afford period products or openly talk about menstruation.

Through the My Period, Period Talk Show and PADHUB, we are committed to breaking the silence, creating awareness, and providing support to girls and women in need. We believe that no girl should have to choose between her education and her period.

Together, we can:
✨ End stigma around menstruation
✨ Promote menstrual health education
✨ Support girls with period products
✨ Create safe and empowering conversations
✨ Build a period-friendly world for all

Because periods are normal — period poverty is not. 💜

🌸 Managing Period Pain Together 🌸

Period pain is real — but you don’t have to go through it alone 💜

From simple remedies like warmth, rest, hydration, gentle exercise, and proper nutrition, to using safe pain relief, there are ways to ease the discomfort and take care of your body.

But remember — if the pain is severe, persistent, or affecting your daily life, it’s important to seek medical attention. Your health matters.

At My Period, Period Talk Show, we believe in creating safe spaces to educate, support, and empower every girl and woman.
