Zimpact AT THE SELEKTA BASE BLOWOUT FESTIVAL!
Borrowdale Race Course came alive as thousands of motoring enthusiasts gathered for the Selekta Base Blowout Festival, celebrating the passion, creativity and lifestyle of the motoring community through thrilling burnouts and impressive displays of cars and motorbikes.
As Zimpact in collaboration with Delta Corporation In The Community and Rooneys Zimbabwe , we were proud to be part of this exciting festival, using the platform to engage with the crowd, motorists and young people on the importance of responsible drinking, safe choices and protecting children from underage drinking.
The message was clear: enjoy the lifestyle, celebrate responsibly and never allow alcohol to put lives at risk.
We believe awareness works best when we take the conversation to where people are—on the streets, at sporting events, festivals and community gatherings.

It has been an awesome moment as we connect with teenagers, designated drivers and other stakeholders at the 2026 St John's College Spring Fair. The amazing interaction on issues of early drinking and drunk driving wás more than saving one's life but preserving a generation. Thank you to everyone who managed to visit Zimpact stand you inspired us.

An Amazing Moment at the ZB Sports Club in Vainona, Harare! 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️
Over 2,000 athletes came together for the ZB Marathon, taking on distances from 5km and 10km all the way to the ultimate 42km challenge, under the theme “Against Drugs and Substance Abuse.”
Running is a healthier pursuit—and a positive addiction—compared with the devastating effects of drug and alcohol abuse.
Zimpact, in partnership with Delta Corporation In The Community, joined thousands of athletes in cascading the message of responsible drinking and the dangers of drinking and driving. We encouraged everyone heading out for drinks to plan ahead and have a designated driver.
We also rehydrated athletes with our Designated Driver water, serving as a reminder that responsible drinking means knowing and sticking to your consumption limit, choosing a designated driver, and never driving under the influence of alcohol.
Let’s keep moving, stay healthy and make responsible choices. 💧🏃🏾‍♂️

ZNYPG 2026: Celebrating Inclusion Through Sport
Today marks the end of the 2nd block of the Zimbabwe National Youth and Paralympic Games. The Paralympic Games have demonstrated the power of inclusion, resilience, and equal participation in sport.
Through the collaboration between Zimpact and Delta Corporation In The Community Delta Corporation, we continue to support the participation of athletes living with disabilities in promoting awareness against underage drinking through sport. Their involvement in the same sports disciplines displayed by able-bodied athletes reinforces the message that disability does not mean inability and that every young person deserves protection from the risks associated with alcohol consumption before the legal age.
All 10 provinces came together to compete in various sporting codes, with athletes participating according to their respective classes, showcasing talent, determination, and the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces for all young people.

The Mashonaland East Province came to life today as it hosts the Paralympic Games as Zimbabwe National Youth and Paralympic Games goes on. Zimpact in partnership with Delta Corporation In The Community continued to give support to the athletes living with disabilities in various sport codes that they choose a healthy lifestyle by staying away from early drinking. Games such as the ZNYPG are a good platform to fight underage 🔞 drinking.

Some scenes at the Zimbabwe National Youth and Paralympic Games in Marondera as Zimpact in partnership with Delta Corporation In The Community accelerate its campaign against underage 🔞 drinking through PLEDGE 18. PLEDGE 18 supports ZNYPG Team Harare and beyond. We also took time to empower athletes on safe partying and effects of underage drinking as the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee also shared knowledge on doping. We congratulate Team Harare for being the overall champions in the just ended youth games. Sport remains a brilliant vehicle in fighting against early drinking, drugs and substance abuse.

Zimpact in collaboration with Delta Corporation In The Community joins Transport and Infrastructural Development Minister Hon Felix Mhona as he officially launched the 2026 Heroes and Defence Forces Holidays Joint Road Enforcement and Road Safety Awareness Campaign at Prevail Mart in Mazowe, Mashonaland Central Province, calling on all road users to exercise patience and responsibility during the holiday period.
