People coming from repatriation centers in
SA need to be received with gentle hearts.
They have been uprooted from their lives because of xenophobic attacks, and some have nothing to their names at this present moment.
Some have even had their clothes and belongings thrown away.
May we receive them with love, they are already traumatized by their loss and harsh treatments in the hands of South Africans.
Let's start at family level vapeiwo pekugara. May our communities also help out with food, clothes, or money for the families that have taken in their relatives and are already struggling.
This influx of people from SA needs all of us to work together to make life a little easier for them until they can stand on their feet again.
This is not the time to bring up old grudges. This is a time for mending family bonds and restoration of humanity.
