What an inspiring and productive day of learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing!

The Zimbabwe Freerange Poultry Association (ZFRPA), in partnership with the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ), successfully hosted a standards awareness workshop at The Villa Resort in Dema, graciously owned by Mr Mutyambizi.

The workshop brought together free range poultry farmers, breeders, feed manufacturers, and other key industry stakeholders to explore the critical role that standards play in improving product quality, food safety, market access and sustainable poultry production.

The interactive discussions, practical insights and exchange of experiences reinforced our shared commitment to building a stronger, more competitive free range poultry industry in Zimbabwe. By embracing quality standards and best practices, we are creating opportunities for farmers to produce with confidence and meet the growing demands of local and international markets.

Day 1 of our Free Range Poultry Production & Marketing Training in Harare. We are excited to learn together with farmers, aspiring entrepreneurs and poultry enthusiasts committed to growing Zimbabwe's free range poultry industry.

Day 2 of our Free-Range Poultry Production & Marketing Training was packed with practical knowledge designed to help farmers improve productivity while reducing production costs.

The focus was on Poultry Feed Formulation, where participants learned how to formulate balanced, nutritious rations using locally available ingredients. We also explored practical ways to feed free range flocks at a lower cost without compromising bird health, growth or egg production.

It's a 2-day of learning, networking and gaining practical knowledge that will help participants build sustainable and profitable poultry enterprises.
