Building on a productive Day One engagement, MASO Zimbabwe and Terre des Hommes Switzerland took the collaboration further with a field visit to Ward 1, Milisonia in Kwekwe District.
The visit provided an opportunity to witness firsthand the impact of community driven initiatives, engage directly with beneficiaries, and assess ongoing projects on the ground. It was a valuable moment of learning, reflection, and alignment, connecting strategy to real lived experiences within the community.
Through such engagements, we continue to strengthen partnerships, deepen impact, and drive sustainable change where it matters most.

Today we commemorate World Health Day under the 2026 theme, “Together for health. Stand with science.” At MASO Zimbabwe, we believe that strong, healthy communities are the foundation of sustainable development. Through our integrated approach in Food, Nutrition and Livelihoods, youth empowerment, and community health programming, we are working to ensure that individuals and families have access to the knowledge, resources, and systems needed to live healthy, productive lives. From promoting hygiene and disease prevention in schools, to supporting nutrition sensitive agriculture and empowering communities with sustainable livelihoods, MASO remains committed to building resilience against health, economic, and environmental shocks.
