Theme :Life of Service

We see in the above scripture that the two brothers sat down and agreed that they deserved to sit closest to Christ. The had been walking with the Lord for some time in their sight they believed they deserved the best.

Like us dear saints we have walked with the Lord that in our hearts some now think like the sons of Zebedee and pray like them "Will you give us what we ask" Glory to God our master is patient the same with us he asks what us it you want. They stated their case to sit one on either side in glory. First these 2 elevated themselves and they now demaned to be elevated. They wanted elevation in heaven and the other disciples were angry I think because they also wanted elevation.

I can imagine the discussions among the disciples. Then Jesus addressed them the Gentiles or those of this world have leaders who rule over them BUT those of the kingdom live a life of service He said the greatest must be the servant of all.

Dear friends in our families give service. In our churches give service, in our ministries, our businesses, our positions as bosses,our walk as Christians it does not matter how gifted you are what sacrifices you have done how spiritual you think you are BE THE LEAST serve till kingdom come.

Humble yourself as Jesus our master He came to serve but He is God. It is natural to want to be
elevated,but kingdom principle we don't conform to the standards of this world.
