Founded by university students, the organization seeks to build strong female solidarity within the University of Zambia and beyond.

In light of the unfortunate fire incident that occurred in a room at October Hostel, we as Women in Power are collecting contributions to help the ladies affected during this difficult time.

*MIZU 'OUR ROOTS' INVITES WOMEN IN POWER FOR A CHARITY OUTREACH* 🔥🥳

We are excited to announce an upcoming orphanage visit to Home of Happiness in Kalundu scheduled for the 9th of May 2026, where we will be reaching out to children aged 6–18 years.

As part of this initiative, we are kindly requesting donations in the form of:
👕 Clothing
👟 Shoes
🍚 Food items
🫧Toiletries
💰 Monetary contributions (any amount is appreciated)

Donations are to be made by the 5th of May so we can transport everything to the orphanage on the 9th.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in making a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.

We also welcome anyone who would like to be part of the visit🤍
