Today, we said farewell to our brother Clement L., only 19. Clement had been with us, on and off, for many years. We met for the first time in 2017.
His loss leaves us heartbroken.
His body has been taken back to his home for burial.
We ask for your prayers and thoughts for Clement, his family, and for all who loved him.
May he rest in peace.

Every Easter, we celebrate the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness.
At Home of Hope, we witness this mystery every day.
For the boys entrusted to our care, the journey from abandonment, abuse, and trauma is often long and difficult — but it leads to something new. Step by step, trust is rebuilt, wounds begin to heal, and joy returns. In many ways, it is like being brought back to life.
As Scripture reminds us:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3)
This “living hope” is not only a promise — it is something we see growing in the lives of our children each day.
To all our friends, supporters, and partners — thank you.
Through your generosity, your presence, and your prayers, you are part of this journey. You help make healing possible. You help bring new life where it once seemed lost.
May the Risen Christ fill your hearts with peace, strength, and renewed hope!
Christ is Risen — and with Him, hope rises in every child!

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” (John 1:14)

At Christmas, we celebrate the mystery of God who enters our world as a Child — vulnerable, humble, and full of hope. In Jesus Christ, God draws close to humanity, bringing light into darkness and hope where it is most needed.

At St. Lawrence Home of Hope, we experience this hope every day — in the care we show one another, in the protection of the vulnerable, and in the love shared between children, caregivers, and friends. Through human hands and open hearts, Christ continues to dwell among us.

We thank you, our friends and supporters, for being part of this mission of hope. May the newborn Christ fill your homes with peace, compassion, and joy, and may His light guide us all in the year ahead.
