Secondary Teachers English Language Improvement Rwanda (STELIR) programme, funded by Mastercard Foundation and delivered in collaboration with the Rwandan Basic Education Board, strengthened English Language for lower secondary teachers in Rwanda’s state education system, improving learning opportunities for students.

Brother Innocent, a principal, has been impressed by the dedication teachers show during training and the effort they put into their work.

He highlights the positive impact in the classroom, students are happy, focused, and highly engaged. Their strong interest in the lessons offered by the STELIR programme reflects the commitment of both teachers and learners.
