We're after plastic sheeting the heavy roll kind. We use it to line kennel walls to block wind and drafts, cover stacked food sacks, and waterproof the office when the roof decides to leak 🤦🏽‍♂️ If you have a roll spare, or work somewhere that has plastic waste we can repurpose, please get in touch. Drop-off at the shelter any day between 9 and 4. Or we can collect 🚚

Cruelty doesn't end because one organisation works hard. It ends because a community decides it won't look away.

This month at Cactus we're talking about the role every person plays reporting what you see, supporting the shelters doing the work, raising children who know that animals feel pain the same way we do. None of it requires being an expert. It just requires not being silent.

If this matters to you, share the post. The more people in Lusaka who know what to do when they see an animal in trouble, the fewer animals end up needing rescue in the first place 💙
