FOURTH PLACE - RANGNA ROUX (RRO)!

After nine days and 1,000 kilometres of racing across the Mongolian steppe, Rangna Roux (RRO) from South Africa has crossed those finish line flags to claim fourth place in the 2026 Mongol Derby.

RRO has been a force at the front of this race from the very beginning, setting the pace and spending day after day with the rest of the field chasing her dot across Mongolia.

Through brutal heat, tough terrain, countless horse changes and all the twists and turns the Derby can throw at a rider, she has clocked up an enormous ride across the steppe.

Nine days after leaving the start line, RRO can finally stop looking over her shoulder for the chasing pack.

A huge ride, a hard-fought finish and an incredible achievement.
