HOLAH HOLAH (House of Love and Hope) is a safe loving haven for abandoned Babies, Toddlers, and Special Needs Children.

In South Africa there are a large number of abandoned and orphaned babies, as well as babies that are taken out of homes for various reasons. In the light of this, HOLAH’s main purpose is to be a safe-haven for these young children.

Yesterday, we welcomed the sweetest little 5 day old baby boy into our HOLAH family. His little life has had a rough start, but, what a bright future we hope lies ahead of him! 🩵
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday go as smoothly as possible and ensured that our little boy was welcomed with the care, love and safety he deserves. It takes a village, and we are so incredibly grateful for ours. 🥹💙
We have a few urgent needs that we would love our incredible community to help us with as we settle him in and make these first few days as comfortable as possible.

A massive shout out & thank you to this incredible team who have spent the last couple of weeks tackling heaps of overgrown hedges to clear the way and make sure we can properly maintain our fence and keep unwanted visitors out 🫶🏽
They have done it with nothing but a slasher and their own two hands & have worked tirelessly to get everything neat, tidy and under control.
What a job they have done! 💪
It’s hard work like this, often happening quietly behind the scenes, that makes such a difference to the safety of our children and our home, that many don't see.
We appreciate you more than you know, absolute legends 💚

Blue has an ECD NQF Level 4 qualification as well as a nursing qualification, and she brings with her a genuine love for children and a passion for helping little minds grow! 🧠✨
She is also a proud mom to two children, a daughter and a son, so caring for little ones is already very much a part of who she is❤️
🌱 Her goal? To become a qualified teacher and continue doing what she loves most; working with children and helping them learn, grow and thrive ✨️🌞

💚 World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚
Some of the greatest lessons we have learnt, have come from little people who were never supposed to teach us anything.
They have taught us that progress can be tiny & still be worth celebrating!
A smile can be an achievement & finding a new way to communicate can be life changing!
The joy of taking one more step, reaching for a toy, making a sound or trying again can be a victory! 💙
But most of all, they have taught us to look beyond the things that make life harder and see the beautiful little person underneath it all!
Cerebral palsy is part of their story,but it is not their whole story 💙💚❤️
Our children have changed us in ways we could never have imagined.
They have made our hearts softer, our celebrations bigger and our definition of progress so much more beautiful & Meaningful.

Today, we celebrate every child living with cerebral palsy! ✨️
You are so much more than what your body can or cannot do.
You are loved. You are valued. You belong. And you are wonderfully, completely YOU. 💚💚💚
