𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲.

We are celebrating an incredible milestone.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the determination of our HACT Heroes, and the kindness of our sponsors and donors, our 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝟵𝟭𝟲 𝟯𝟲𝟱.

Every step taken, every donation made and every word of encouragement has helped ensure that patients and their families continue to receive compassionate, dignified care through our 24-bed Hospice and Palliative Care In-Patient Unit.

𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱.

Once a week, 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗻𝗶, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁, becomes a little more colourful thanks to the wonderful ladies from The Robin Hood Foundation South Africa.

Out come the paintbrushes, the conversations start flowing, creativity takes over, and before long there's plenty of laughter and more than a few proud artists in the room.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮. Seeing their artwork take pride of place brought huge smiles and a real sense of achievement. Everyone who walks through our doors will now be welcomed by something made with care, creativity, and heart.

Thank you for showing up week after week. Your friendship, encouragement and enthusiasm bring so much joy to our patients, and we look forward to your visits just as much as they do.
