HOLAH HOLAH (House of Love and Hope) is a safe loving haven for abandoned Babies, Toddlers, and Special Needs Children.

In South Africa there are a large number of abandoned and orphaned babies, as well as babies that are taken out of homes for various reasons. In the light of this, HOLAH’s main purpose is to be a safe-haven for these young children.

Today is International Day of Charity ❤️
And I think sometimes we forget just how much a small act of kindness can mean 🥰
We are privileged to see it all the time!
A packet of nappies, a meal, someone paying for a therapy session, or being part of our hundred club! 💯

None of these things feel small to us.

We are incredibly lucky to have a community that continues to show up for our children.

So today, on International Day of Charity, thank you!

Thank you for giving when you could.
Thank you for sharing our posts.
Thank you for dropping things at our door.
Thank you for believing in what we do.

You are part of the reason our children get to grow, heal, learn and bloom! 🌸🥰🙌🏽

A NAPPY NEVER GOES TO WASTE 🧷🍼
We often get asked what happens when we receive more than our little ones need, or when we receive sizes that our children have grown out of.
The answer is, we pass them on 🥰
Through our BOP programme, we are able to donate excess nappies and clothing, as well as nappies that don't fit our children, to other organisations and babies who desperately need them.
So please, don’t ever think we have enough and that your donation isn’t needed ❤️
Every single thing we recieve, either goes onto the bottoms of our own babies… or onto the bottoms of another little baby who needs them and your donation has a ripple effect far beyond our gates 🥰
Nappies are ALWAYS needed & Nappies are ALWAYS appreciated.
Thank you for helping us keep little bottoms happy ..  here at HOLAH and beyond 🥹🧡

Nearly 2 years ago, we started our Hundred Club 💯

Just R100 a month from people who believe in what we’re doing at HOLAH ❤️

And here’s the crazy part…

If just HALF of our followers joined, it would take SO much pressure off us!!!

Less worrying about the next bill & less scrambling to make ends meet.

More stability for HOLAH & more energy for the children ❤️

We Need a Man Cave for Mr. C 💙
Mikey has Cerebral Palsy, and for his safety, he sleeps in an enclosed bed.
If you know Mikey, you’ll know just how much he moves around, and how FAST he is! 😂
It may look like a cage to some, but I can assure you, it is anything but.
this is his safe space and it allows him to sleep safely without the risk of moving around in his sleep and landing on the floor.

Our darling Mr. C is now in need of the same kind of structure for his bed. He is currently sleeping in a cot, but he has grown SO tall that the risk of him falling out and hurting himself has become too great.
He also cannot sleep on a normal bed without supervision, because just like Mikey, he is a real mover!
We need to make sure he is safe throughout the night and doesn’t end up on the floor.
So… we have a little request 💙

Is there anyone out there who could help us build something similar for our boy?
We’d love to give our Mr. C his very own MAN CAVE; a safe, secure and comfortable space that he can call his own at bed time 🥰
If you are able to build something like this, or know someone who can, it would mean the absolute world to our boy🥹

Let’s get Mr. C out of his cot and into his very own man cave! 💙
