An unprecedented collaboration between SASSA and SHeReign's Alabaster Box Chatsworth! Thank you Pediatric Neurologist Dr Yavini Reddy for making this dream of mine come true! Dr Reddy saw 16 patients from all over Kzn yesterday at our very first Free Diagnostic Clinic at Autism Excellence Alabaster Box NPO... You have the heart and patience of an angel Yav! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for going the extra mile with all the paperwork that will make life easier for these parents... Eternally grateful 🙏🏾 May your blessings be tenfold. One of our scholarship students at Autism Excellence Incredible Minds Therapy Centre came in non-speaking in January 2025 age 3... She is now answering wh- questions and the executive functioning skills are 👌🏾 off the charts! No more tantrums and meltdowns. Two way conversations and there is no way we're holding her back. Yugen and I have sponsored her mainstream education at at a brilliant Durban North Pre-school and off she goes.... The youngest autistic to leave our centre... Every child progresses at their own pace and receives our curriculum where they are at-she clearly wanted to fly the coop.. All the best baby girl!

About last week! First week of 2026...to think that we had such a disruptive start, temporary premises, back to our original premises last week and our babies took to school like ducks to water again!

Paediatric Neurologist Dr Yavini Reddy has partnered with sHeReign's Alabaster Box Chatsworth and will be donating her services to conduct free diagnostic clinic.

This is open to:
*Do not have medical aid
*children not diagnosed
*not yet in the state hospital system awaiting a diagnosis

First day of the 2026 school year...4 classrooms with kids arriving this morning...

Only 2 with tears and separation anxiety-the rest were trying to break free from their parents and run in!!! School should be a child's safe space-not the place they go home to escape and recover from...

The term's lesson preps per child done according their IEDP's and we're ready to rock and roll!

Please take your children to see this...ear muffs or noise-cancelling earphones needed but I think they will love the interactive theatre!
