This Mandela Day, you or your company have the power to make a lasting impact. 🤝✨

Join us in honouring the legacy of Nelson Mandela by donating items from our Mandela Day needs list and helping us uplift individuals and families in our community. Every contribution — big or small — becomes a symbol of hope, dignity, and compassion.

We invite individuals, corporate companies, businesses, and organisations to partner with us in creating meaningful change through giving. Together, we can turn 67 minutes into a lifetime of impact.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others.” – Nelson Mandela

The Substance Abuse Support's May bead therapy workshop was abit challenging yet courful. Challenging, because it was a new item that the ladies had to make but they tackled it head on and overcame the challenge.

We would like to thank Twin Coatings for sponsoring the beads and St Marks Church Lavenderhill for the venue.

FEEDING OVER 200 PEOPLE AFFECTED BY FIRE
We were able to assist some of the children and adults who were affected by the fire in Masiphumele during the early hours of this morning (14 April). The MFH Community Kitchen was able to give Projek Ubuntu two and a half buckets of cooked food, enabling to feed 207 people in total. MFH Community Kitchen also gave rolls donated by Happy Valley Shelter. Thank you to every partner for your continued donations and financial support, making it possible for us to feed families facing devastating circumstances.

Our Substance Abuse Support Team's March 2026 bead therapy workshop was successful because the group completed 3 items and we had 2 new ladies joining.
The amazing part was seeing the ladies who attended the previous 2 workshops eagerly helping and guiding the 2 new ladies.

Note:
Accomplishing tasks, regardless of their complexity, offers a profound sense of achievement. Each task completed serves as a validation of our competence and capabilities. It’s a reminder that we are, indeed, capable of achieving results and getting closer to realizing our goals. Completion then enhances our self-esteem and confidence.
