At the South African Actuarial Development Programme (SAADP), we are committed to transforming potential into excellence. Established to address the underrepresentation of Black actuaries in South Africa, SAADP has proudly supported aspiring actuaries from disadvantaged backgrounds since its inception in 2003. We work with learners, students, and professionals to unlock pathways to one of the most prestigious and rewarding careers—actuarial science. Through tailored support, bursaries, mentorship, and academic assistance, we empower our beneficiaries to succeed academically, professionally, and personally. With a strong presence at top universities and robust connections to industry leaders, SAADP is more than a bursary programme; we are a community that nurtures dreams, inspires ambition, and celebrates success. From rural schools to bustling lecture halls, our mission is to cultivate a thriving pipeline of actuarial talent that reflects the diversity and promise of South Africa. Join us in shaping the future. Whether you're a learner passionate about mathematics, a corporate partner seeking impactful collaborations, or an alumnus reconnecting to give back—we welcome you to our growing network. Together, we create opportunities, break barriers, and build brighter tomorrows. Email: [email protected]
