🚨 Incident Report: Structure Fire 🚨

📅 Date: 07 October 2026
📍 Location: Esperanza street, Florida

ECSA were on scene at a structural fire.

Upon arrival, crews found a house which was on fire. Reports was received that there were 3 occupants on the premises and one occupant which was unaccounted for. Information was given that a child was still unaccounted for.

2 x COJEMS engines arrived on scene together with SecureFire. Fire teams proceeded to attend to the fire and located the unaccounted child.

It was truly unfortunate that the child could not be reached in time. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time.

May they find strength, comfort and courage in the days ahead, and may they be surrounded by the love and support of family, friends and the community.

𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Motor Vehicle Accident

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: 03 October 2026
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: R24, near the N14

Incident Report

At 22H17, Emergency Control South Africa (ECSA) responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident on the R24, near the N14.

Upon arrival, it was established that 2 vehicles were involved in a motor vehicle accident, including a truck. One vehicle had a patient trapped inside, requiring extrication.

Approximately three patients were found on scene. One patient was assessed and was trapped inside the vehicle.

ECSA members assisted Station 38 West Rand Fire Department in the extrication of the trapped patient..

Two patients were transported from the scene by Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) Ambulance Services, while one patient was transported by Netcare911.

The scene was managed with the assistance of the relevant emergency services, including ECSA, Netcare, GPG, SAPS, and Station 38 Fire Department.

🚨 INCIDENT REPORT: Heavy Motor Vehicle Accident 🚨

Date: 30 September 2026
Location: Corner of Malibongwe Drive and Suikerbossie Road

At approximately 17:00, Emergency Control South Africa (ECSA) responders came across a single Heavy Motor Vehicle Accident (HMVA) shortly after it occurred.

Upon arrival, responders discovered that a fully loaded heavy truck had overturned while navigating the corner. ECSA members immediately secured the scene to ensure safety and clear traffic flow. Netcare 911 arrived moments later, assessed the scene, and treated the driver, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.

The road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to operate safely. The vehicle was successfully recovered, and the scene was cleared.
