Help us protect our coastline and keep our beaches clean for future generations.

🧤 Bring gloves and sun protection.
✅ Refuse bags will be provided.

We invite volunteers, families, schools, businesses and organisations to join hands and make a difference.

Businesses and organisations can also support by donating water, gloves, lunch packs or snacks for participants.

16 Learners recently completed their practical tasks for the Basic Raw Materials Programme. They were from various companies such as Plasticolors, Plastic Bubbles, Alpla, Dutton, Transpaco, Lasher, Plastinternational and Impact.

We can't wait to see them in action.

As part of the campaign, Save a fishie is highlighting how everyday habits impact our environment.

🌊 From your bathroom… to our beaches.

Earbuds (cotton buds) are one of the most common items found during beach clean-ups — and many of them get there by being flushed down toilets.

They may seem small, but they cause big problems:
• They don’t break down in water
• They pass through sewer systems and end up in rivers and oceans
• They contribute to blockages and costly infrastructure damage
• They can be mistaken for food by marine life, causing harm or death

As part of the campaign, we’re highlighting how everyday habits impact our environment.

🚽 Only flush the 3 P’s — P*e, Poo and (toilet) Paper
🗑️ Earbuds belong in the bin — always
