As we conclude another meaningful week in our At-Home Learning Programme, we would like to take a moment to celebrate and thank our dedicated Yeboneers for their incredible hard work, commitment, and passion.
Every day, our Yeboneers play a vital role in the lives of the referred learners they support. Through their encouragement, guidance, and unwavering dedication, they help create opportunities for growth, learning, and confidence-building that extend far beyond the classroom.

As representatives of Goedgedacht in the Riebeek Valley, they embody the values of care, service, and community development. Their impact is seen not only in the academic progress of our learners but also in the hope and inspiration they bring to families and communities.

Child Protection Week was beautifully concluded by our Yeboneers! 💙

POP 2 presented a powerful role-play showcasing the journey of a referred learner and how the programme provides support, guidance, and hope. POP 3 embraced the theme "You Are Enough" by creating a Tree of Life, symbolizing growth, development, resilience, and the limitless potential within every child.

Together, we continue to nurture, protect, and empower our children to thrive. 🌱✨

CHILD PROTECTION WEEK
Days 3 and 4 have successfully concluded, and at both of our POP Centres, programmes were in full swing with our stakeholders actively participating in various activities.
Our Social Development team also joined forces on Day 4 in support of Child Protection Week. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to ACVV and SAPS for being part of the day's programme and for taking hands with us in promoting this year's Child Protection Week theme: "Working together to End Violence Against Children."
Together, we can create safer environments where every child is protected, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Day 2 of Child Protection Week was successfully held at the Riebeek West POP Centre, where we had the privilege of hosting SAPS as our guest speakers.

The focus of the session was "The Rights of the Child", an important topic aimed at educating and empowering children about their rights, safety, and well-being. Through meaningful engagement and discussion, learners gained valuable knowledge about the protections afforded to them and the importance of speaking up when their rights are violated.

We extend our sincere gratitude to SAPS for taking the time to invest in our children and for their continued commitment to creating safer communities. Together, we can ensure that every child is informed, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive.
