Our office fridge has unfortunately packed up, and we are urgently looking for a replacement.

This fridge is used to store vaccines and other essential medications that must be kept at the correct temperature to remain safe and effective for the animals in our care. Without a reliable fridge, our ability to provide vital veterinary care is affected.

If you have a good working fridge that you no longer need, or if you would like to make a contribution towards the purchase of a replacement, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us continue caring for the animals who depend on us every day. ❤️🐾

A man has been arrested, following criminal charges laid by the NSPCA, after he allegedly attempted to kill a dog by throwing it off a bridge with weights tied around its neck. 💖🎀 A Heartfelt Thank You to Michael Webb – Our Pink Fairy!🎀💖

The KWT SPCA would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Michael John Webb, better known as the Pink Fairy, for once again taking on the incredible challenge of the Comrades Marathon in support of the animals in our care.

Year after year, Michael laces up his running shoes, dons his pink fairy gear, and turns every kilometre into hope for animals in need. His dedication, generosity, and unwavering support continue to inspire us all.

This year, Michael achieved a record-breaking fundraising total, making an even greater impact on the lives of the animals who rely on us every day. Thanks to his efforts and the generosity of those who supported his campaign, countless animals will receive the care, shelter, and second chances they deserve.

🎉🐾 A Birthday Filled with Kindness! 🐾🎉

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Alexis Malone's birthday celebration at KWT SPCA, and what a special day it was!

Instead of asking for gifts for herself, Alexis chose to help the animals in our care by requesting donations of animal food. Thanks to the generosity of her family and friends, we received dog food, lucerne, mielies, and other much-needed supplies that will make a real difference to the animals at our SPCA.

During their visit, the children spent time learning about the work we do, meeting some of our animals, feeding them, and sharing plenty of love with our cats and other furry residents. It was wonderful to see such compassion and enthusiasm from a young age.

A heartfelt thank you to the Malone family and everyone who contributed towards this thoughtful initiative. Your kindness and support mean so much to us and the animals we care for.

Happy Birthday, Alexis! 🎂 Thank you for choosing to make your special day one that gives back to animals in need. We hope you had a fantastic celebration and wish you a year filled with happiness, love, and lots of wagging tails!

Do you have a passion for animal welfare and a desire to make a difference in our community? We are looking for motivated individuals to assist with planning, fundraising, events, and supporting the work we do for animals in need.

This is a volunteer position and no salary is offered.
