This Ribbon is for every Cancer Survivor out there, to remind them that they're seen and loved and that they're more than their diagnosis. Silusapho Cancer Org invites everyone for Purple Thursdays, where we wear anything purple in solidarity with all cancer survivors.

Today, we stand together in remembrance, in solidarity, and in strength. As the founder of Silusapho NPO, as an advocate in the fight against cancer, and as a cancer survivor myself, this day is deeply personal. Cancer is not just a diagnosis but a journey that tests the body, the mind, and the spirit. It is a journey surrounded by fear, resilience, loss, courage, and hope. Today, we honour those we have lost through cancer, we stand with those currently fighting it and we celebrate the survivors who are living proof that cancer does not define the end of the story. Wearing black today is not only a symbol of remembrance, but a powerful statement that WE REMEMBER , WE CARE, AND WE WILL NOT LOOK AWAY.
My survival has taught me that awareness saves lives, early detection matters, and compassion can change someone’s darkest day. This is why our work continues because no one should fight alone.

Let today remind us to speak up, support one another, and keep pushing for a world where cancer is detected early, treated with dignity, and faced with humanity.
Together, we fight. Together, we remember. Together, we hope. 🎗️🖤🙏🏾
