This morning, DA uMngeni Mayoral Candidate Mayor Chris Pappas, accompanied by Councillor Le Roux, DA Youth EXCO Member, Zuziwe Lushozi, donated five computers to Bongumusa Mnikathi, a promising young entrepreneur.

Mnikathi is the owner of Abaphathi Business Solutions, a venture dedicated to helping community members with CV typing and printing services. Before this generous donation, Mnikathi operated his business with only one computer and one printer, making this contribution a significant boost to his operations.

While some political parties are busy barking at post boxes, others are getting on with the work of delivering real progress.

Rebuilding our municipality has not happened overnight. It has taken consistent effort, day by day, process by process, and policy by policy.

Real progress is built through hard work, sound decisions, responsible management, and a commitment to putting residents first.

Well done to the dedicated officials and councillors who have worked tirelessly to rebuild our municipality and manage it in the best interests of the people.

There is still much to do, but we have come a long way. Progress is worth protecting.

💙 Afternoon with the Gogos of Ward 1 KwaMevana!

Yesterday around 100 gogos joined DA Mayoral Candidate Chris Pappas, Ward 1 Candidate Thembelani Sikhakhane and DA KZN Provincial Chairperson Minister Dean Macpherson for a community engagement.

The gogos spoke about the progress they’ve seen in Howick and KwaMevana over the past five years and their hopes for the next five.

Following a request to PR Candidate Brian Mthembu, we were delighted to hand over gym equipment, including weights, kettlebells, skipping ropes, exercise mats and stretch bands, to help the gogos establish their own outdoor exercise group! 🏋🏾‍♀️
