We have erected a large 15 x 9 tent in the heart of Syferfontein, Pacaltsdorp to serve as a church for this precious community.

We are looking for a pulpit, if anyone is able to help.

We are also inviting churches in the area to use the space for outreaches.

In this video, we hear from community members whose lives have been transformed by Arms of Love. Mannetjie received a much-needed wheelchair and bed after a sudden illness, and a mother’s prayers were answered when Arms of Love built her a house, allowing her family to be reunited.

The team from 67 Blankets, who knit and crochet for Nelson Mandela Day, decided that after the severe weather we have been experiencing, it was simply too cold in George to wait until Mandela Day on 18 July. They distributed 130 blankets, beanies, gloves, and socks to elderly residents, people with disabilities, and children in the Syferfontein community, a highly impoverished shack-dwelling community on the outskirts of George.

A heartfelt thank you to Lee for reaching out to Arms of Love and giving us the opportunity to partner with you in this wonderful initiative. What a blessing it is to know that these recipients will be able to sleep a little warmer tonight.
