Our Computer Centre at High Hopes ECD in Syferfontein provides a valuable resource for the community. Schoolchildren use the computers to complete their school assignments and homework, while adults have access to the internet for information, communication, and other everyday needs.

We are so happy that we could bless Berenice, who runs our Borchards Soup Kitchen, with a brand-new washing machine!

Despite living with a disability, Berenice faithfully prepares meals for 350 people, five days a week. Her dedication, compassion, and love for her community are truly inspiring.

What a privilege it is to bless someone who gives so much of herself to others! ❤️

Yesterday, while busy with some work in Syferfontein, I came across this grandmother and her two grandchildren. I don't think they realised it, but that brief encounter touched my heart and reminded me why God placed this work on my heart in the first place.

It's easy to get caught up in the challenges, the endless needs, and the work that never seems to end. Sometimes we get so busy doing the work that we forget to stop and see the people we're doing it for.

But moments like these bring everything back into perspective. Behind every struggle is a person, a family, and a story that matters.

Love is not just something we talk about. It's something we live. And sometimes, the smallest encounters remind us of the greatest purpose.

What a joy it was to celebrate Women’s Day with the incredibly strong and brave women of the Syferfontein informal settlement here in George. Their unwavering courage in the face of immense hardship is a true testament to their resilience, and it is our absolute honor to recognise and celebrate them today.

Good morning.

We have erected a large 15 x 9 tent in the heart of Syferfontein, Pacaltsdorp to serve as a church for this precious community.

We are looking for a pulpit, if anyone is able to help.

We are also inviting churches in the area to use the space for outreaches.

Please feel free to contact Harry on 0719197959.

Great news! Debbie and Sunshine from Cares International visited Mannetjie today. During their time together, he gave his life to Jesus and has decided to be baptized.

Thank You, Jesus!

You can already see the life of God shining on his face. What a beautiful reminder that Jesus is still transforming lives.

In this video, we hear from community members whose lives have been transformed by Arms of Love. Mannetjie received a much-needed wheelchair and bed after a sudden illness, and a mother’s prayers were answered when Arms of Love built her a house, allowing her family to be reunited.

"I wanted to help... but my hands were cut off... and then you came through," she shared.
