And a very special thank you to the Chantler family for welcoming this lucky boy into your home and giving him the chance at a beautiful new life. 🏡🥹❤️

It takes a village to make rescue happen, and we are so grateful for every person who plays a part in changing these precious lives. Here’s to new beginnings, happy tails and a lifetime of love! 🐶✨

Meet the magnificent Pluto! 😍🐾

This handsome 14-week-old boy definitely has some Shepherd in his mix, and with those gorgeous markings, we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a little Anatolian in there too! ❤️

Pluto is a sweet, fun-loving boy who’s always ready for his next adventure. Whether it’s exploring the world, making new friends or simply soaking up all the love, this boy is ready to make every day a little more exciting! 🐶✨

We estimate Pluto will be medium-sized when fully grown, making him a wonderful companion for a family ready to give him all the love, guidance and adventures a growing pup deserves. 🏡❤

🐾💦 Meet Ellie, our 11-week-old Africanis princess! 💕

Since moving into foster care, this little girl has really come out of her shell, and we’re loving seeing her personality shine! 🥹❤️

Ellie is a soft-natured, clever little girl with a playful side that comes out around other dogs. She’s also got a funny little fascination with water… so much so that she’ll try to join her foster mom in the shower! 🤣🚿

She’s a little shadow who loves following her human around all day, and with her sweet nature and growing confidence, we know she’s going to make someone a very special companion. ❤️

A savage rescue that left our hearts in pieces… and our blood boiling. 💔

Formally known as “Danger”, Tex was taken by children with the intention of being used to fight Pitbulls. But Tex refused to go with them.

For that, he was brutally beaten with a spade, leaving him with a fractured bone between his back and tail and unimaginable pain. 💔

After multiple vet visits, crate rest, rehabilitation and, unfortunately, having his tail amputated to help relieve the pressure and pain on his back, Tex has finally reached the other side.

And now… he is ready for his new beginning. ❤️

Tex is around 3 years old and is honestly one of the most amazing, easy-going hounds you could ever meet. He is playful, social, affectionate and absolutely adores other dogs. 🐾

He would love an active family and would be happiest with another furry companion by his side. Sadly, Tex is not cat friendly.

After everything this boy has endured, we want nothing more than to see him loved, spoilt and protected for the rest of his life.

Happy, a sweet old lady who found herself needing our help.

While everybody was sleeping in on Sunday morning, we were pounding the pavements in Diepsloot, after receiving a call to help Happy.

She had somehow sustained a horrible wound on Saturday and her owner was desperate for help. In this heat, the wound was already a breeding ground for maggots and Happy was in a lot of pain.

Thank you once again to our amazing vets Petite Paws for meeting us at the clinic so we could get this wound cleaned and Happy onto painkillers and antibiotics.

Get well soon sweet girl. ❤️

Our Tequila Bingo Night was an absolute HIT, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you! 🥳

A HUGE thank you to Coconut Joe’s for hosting us and helping make the evening so much fun! 🍹

A special thank you to Lelani Bruwer Inc. Conveyancers & Attorneys for the gorgeous hamper we raffled off. Your generosity means so much to us! 🎁❤️

And of course, to everyone who bought tickets, joined in the fun, played bingo, enjoyed a tequila (or two 😉) and supported Dogs Trust — THANK YOU! Every bit of support helps us continue rescuing, feeding and caring for the dogs who need us most. 🐶🐾

We laughed, we played, we raised support for our rescues, and we made some amazing memories!

One thing is for sure… THIS WON’T BE THE LAST ONE! 👀🎱🍹

Keep an eye out for our next event — you definitely don’t want to miss it! 🥳🐾

Meet Aurora. ✨🐶

Aurora’s journey to us is one we’ll never forget. ❤️

This beautiful girl was surrendered from Diepsloot when she was around 2 years old—heavily pregnant and in need of a safe place to land. Little did we know just how close she was… because on the very night she arrived at our shelter, Aurora gave birth to her puppies. 🥹🐾

She did an incredible job raising her babies, and now that they’ve grown up, it’s finally Aurora’s turn to find the loving home she has always deserved.

Aurora is an absolute sweetheart. She’s happy, confident, and has a wonderfully easy-going nature that makes her a joy to be around. She gets along well with other dogs, loves being part of the action, and would thrive with an active family who’ll include her in all of life’s adventures.

While she’s great with other dogs, Aurora would prefer a home without cats. 🐱

After giving everything to her puppies, it’s time for someone to choose her. She has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for the family who will show her what it feels like to be cherished forever. 🧡

Meet Chickpea, an 8-week-old Terrier x little lady ready to steal hearts! 😍🐾

Chickpea is one in a million, just like her mama! ❤️ She’s smart, fun, full of personality and ready to take on the world.

This beautiful girl is expected to be small to medium-sized when fully grown and would thrive with a loving family who will keep her busy, shower her with affection and continue with her training as she grows. 🐶✨

She’s got the brains, the energy and the cutest face — now all she needs is a family to call her own! 🥹❤️

If happiness had a face, it would look exactly like Jude! 😍

This 12-week-old little boy is a bundle of bubbly energy, endless love and playful puppy charm. His photos say it all — Jude is just one of those pups who makes you smile without even trying! 🥹❤️

We definitely suspect there may be a little Labby in his mix, and if so, he’s got all the makings of a fun-loving, loyal and affectionate family companion! 🐶

Now all Jude needs is a family to call his own, a home to grow up in and a lifetime of adventures with his favourite humans. Could that be YOU? 🏡💛
