The head pastor and visionary is Pastor Wally Scholtz together with his wife Elisabeth Scholtz. As a prophetic teacher in the Body of Christ, Pastor Wally functions in the now Word of God and has ministered both locally and abroad since 2001. He has a passion for inspiring the accurate dimension within people and is uniquely gifted as

a communicator of divine truth. Pastor Wally's ministry is characterized by four particular grace workings: the voice of prayer, praise, purpose and the prophetic.

Today we celebrate a remarkable woman of God, a woman of grace, wisdom, strength and love. ❤️

Tanie, your life is a beautiful testimony of what it means to serve God faithfully while loving people genuinely. Your quiet strength, your prayers, your wisdom and the way you continually pour into the lives of others are a blessing to so many of us.

Today we pray that the Lord will refresh you in every place you have poured out. May He replenish your strength, answer the prayers you have carried before Him, and reward every seed you have sown.

🎶 WORSHIP WEDNESDAY 🎶

Worship God for who He is—not only for what He does. 🤍

It’s easy to praise God when the prayer has been answered, the door has opened, and everything is going well. But true worship says:

“Even here, I will worship.”
“Even when I don’t understand, I will trust You.”
“Even when I’m waiting, You are still worthy.”

Worship takes our eyes off the situation and places them back on the One who is greater than the situation.

Today, whatever season you find yourself in, pause and remember His faithfulness. Lift your heart. Lift your voice. Give Him praise.

He is still God. He is still good. And He is still worthy. 🙌🏽✨

🌊 THE POWER OF THE KINGDOM — THE MOVEMENT THAT YOU ARE IN

What a powerful Word we received today at Church in the City! 🔥

Pastor Wally preached on “The Power of the Kingdom — The Movement That You Are In,” taking us through Genesis 2:10–14 and John 7:38.

From the Garden of Eden, we see a river flowing out and dividing into four rivers. These rivers remind us that what God puts inside of us is not meant to remain stagnant—it is meant to flow, increase, produce and impact the world around us. 🌊

God wants us to increase.
God wants us to be fruitful.
God wants what He has placed inside of us to flow outward and bring transformation.

And there was another powerful revelation: the river will show you where the good gold is. 🪙✨ When you are moving with God and walking in the purpose He has given you, He knows how to lead you to the resources connected to that purpose.

We were reminded of the wise men from the East who came looking for Jesus and brought gold, frankincense and myrrh (Matthew 2:1–11).

Your purpose carries resources.
God is able to send the people, opportunities, finances, relationships and resources necessary for what He has called you to accomplish.

The question is: Are you positioned in the movement God has called you into?

Don't be stagnant.
Don't bury what God has placed inside you.
Let the river flow. Let it increase. Let it produce. Let it bring life. 🌊🔥

"He who believes in Me... out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." — John 7:38

There is a Kingdom movement happening. Find your place in it. Move with God. Increase. Be fruitful. Fulfil your purpose.

💙 A Farewell & Blessing to the Dhlamini Family

Today was a bittersweet moment in our Church in the City family as we said farewell to our dear sister, Sinelisiwe Dhlamini, and her two beautiful children. 🥹❤️

Sinelisiwe, you have been such a precious part of our church family. Your presence, your fellowship, your service and the life you have shared with us have left a beautiful mark on our hearts. You will truly be missed!

Today, Pastor Wally made the announcement and prayed a prayer of release, entrusting you and the children into the hands of God as He leads you into this new season and new town. 🙏🏽

We may be saying goodbye to your physical presence among us, but we know that God's plans for you are bigger than the place you are leaving. We trust that He is ordering your steps, preparing the way before you and connecting you to the people and community He has prepared for this next chapter.

May the Lord go before you.
May He protect you and your children.
May He provide for every need.
May He give you divine connections and a new spiritual family.
May your new home become a place of peace, growth and purpose.
And may you continue to flourish wherever God plants you. 🌱✨

We love you. We honour you. We bless you. And we release you into all that God has prepared for you.

This isn't goodbye forever—it's “see you again.” ❤️

Go with God, Dhlamini family. Your Church in the City family will always have a place for you.
