Thrive Outside CIC

Thrive Outside CIC Community groups in local woodlands and green spaces. Traditional crafts, campfire cooking, foraging, wellness activities.

We can deliver group sessions for all ages to support mental and physical well being. We are also able to organise one to one sessions for specific needs. Working with children young people and adults, people experiencing mental health difficulties and bespoke sessions for people with disabilities or special needs. We have expertise in supporting women before and during menopause. The sessions can combine craft and bushcraft skills as well as fitness training and relaxation techniques, with the focus on being outside.

If you’d like to join us around the campfire and start your own project, sessions are on Wednesdays at 11am until 2pm.
They’re free, all materials and tools are provided and you don’t need to book, just turn up.

Lovely session in the autumnal sunshine yesterday Homestead Park, York
A reminder that these sessions are fully funded so completely free to you! Everything you need is provided, including tools, materials and somewhere to sit! All you need to do is turn up - you don’t even need to book.
Enjoy a few hours relaxing in nature, off screens, and create something out of a humble piece of wood. A simple spoon or something more ambitious!
