SVSG Samoa Founded in 2005, SVSG provides integrated and personalized services for victims of crime.

Initially set up to care, support, and help victims of sexual crimes, SVSG saw after the first few cases it handled, that victims of other areas also sought to get help. As such, SVSG has now extended its arms to embrace victims in any area of need, whether it be domestic violence, harassment in the work place, victims of poverty, etc.

What did you do yesterday? Well at the Campus of Hope we had a concert… in our backyard! 🎤🎶

Yesterday at the Campus of Hope, we had the privilege of hosting a special private in-house concert with Leautuli Richard Parker and friends.

This visit has been a long time coming, after hearing so much about SVSG and the work happening at the Campus. It was wonderful to finally welcome Richard (and his wife Christina), Rapper Tony Alesana (and his wife Akenese), and Mautoatatasi Asuao, (along with Matalena Asuao, Tofaga Meke and Lani Matautia).

And what a generous visit it was! ❤️

Thank you Richard, for sharing your music and bringing everyone along to make the afternoon so special. Thank you also for your generous monetary donation, providing a sound system for our special in-house concert, and of course, the ice cream treats for the children to finish the afternoon off well.

The morning sun cut through the panels of the Campus of Hope Greenhouses while the children filled with excitement started working on their greenhouse project with the help of their two chinese friends (experienced farmers) volunteering to help them restart their project. The effects of El-Nino active across the tropical Pacific is not holding back their enthusiasm to start this project. The greenhouse work shows that hunger relief is about more than filling the stomach; it is about restoring dignity and building a hopeful future. The children learn teamwork vacational skills and healthy coping strategies as they work alongside their helpers in the greenhouses. Many of them who have trauma find comfort in the routine of planting, tending and harvesting , and especially when they taste the joy of eating food they helped grow.

Celebrating our Measina 🇼🇸

As the first year of the newly named Measina Festival comes to a close, our staff came together for a little team bonding — with a whole lot of Samoan pride!

Dressed in "Tama’ita’i and Tama Samoa", we celebrated and shared our Measina, showing our respect and appreciation for the culture, traditions and values that make us who we are.

We’re proud to support this Government initiative and the vision behind the Measina Festival, while taking the opportunity to strengthen our team, have some fun and celebrate together 🇼🇸

It was a morning of fun, creativity and meaningful reconnection at the Campus of Hope.

After years apart, it was a special opportunity for the children to reconnect with AOG missionaries Garry & Joni Dorris from the United States, and to meet their long-time friend, Leisa Wilson.

With a shared heart for children and ministry, the connection was immediate and natural. Between years of experience in children’s ministry, trauma support, gospel magic and foster care, Garry, Joni and Leisa brought so much warmth and care to their time with the children.

From making bracelets together to generously donating food items, their visit was a beautiful way to rekindle a long-standing connection.

SVSG is so grateful to have Garry & Joni back in Samoa as missionaries, and we look forward to connecting with them again in the near future.

Thank you for coming back, and for introducing us to your wonderful friend Leisa during her holiday. We’re so glad you came 💛
