Kenosha County 4h Horse Project Welcome to the Kenosha County 4H Horse Program page. These opportunities include monthly meetings, a camp/clinic training session, and horse shows.

Here in Kenosha County, the 4-H Horse program offers young people many different types of opportunities to learn all about horses from caring volunteer adult 4-H leaders. In addition, the Kenosha County 4-H Horse program offers three distinct projects that young people may choose from depending on their interests and commitment level. These projects include the 4-H Horse and Pony Project, 4-H Horseless Horse Project, and the 4-H Model Horse Project.

Participants in the parade included elements of the fair, the Westosha Central High School band, fair royalty, some of the Quilts of Honor awardees, old tractors and other supporters of the fair.

Day 4 of the Fair - Our gymkhana show was this morning and someone didn't have to help with the show or have a kid competing and apparently enjoyed just watching for once a little too much and didn't take any pictures...it was me 👋 Sorry 😔
It was super fun to watch, the kiddos gave it their all!
🏆 Congrats to our Champion - Ella H and
Reserve Champion - Emilee W!!

We also did some fun games in the afternoon and had a great group represent the project at the Pie Auction this evening. Thank you Showtime Farms for buying our basket!

We didn't let a few raindrops hold us back yesterday 🌧️🌈 The kids had a great fair show 🍀
Thank you to Kirt Falk and his team for keeping the arena in great shape, Mike Bucz for keeping us fed all week, and all the parents and family members for all their help and support! Thank you to Denise Francois-Matrisch and Taylor Hoecherl for running a great show in spite of some weather hiccups!
