š¾ COMMUNITY OUTREACH IN ACTION! š¾
Today, weāre excited to have the opportunity to do some important outreach work right here in our community! šš
We have six adorable kitties coming to us from one of our local shelters that doesnāt have easy access to veterinary care. Today, these six little ones will receive their neuters, vaccinations, and feline leukemia (FeLV) and FIV testing! š±š
But why is this work so important? ā¤ļø
Itās about so much more than a single day of veterinary care!
š¾ Healthier, happier cats: Preventative care helps keep these kitties healthier and gives them a better chance at thriving while they wait for their forever homes.
š¾ More opportunities for rescue: When cats are already vetted, it can be easier for other rescue organizations to welcome them into their foster programs and help them find loving homes.
š¾ Lower costs for other rescues: By providing this veterinary care upfront, we help reduce the financial burden on other rescue organizations, allowing their limited resources to go further and help even more animals.
At Fur-Ever Home Rescue, we believe that helping animals means looking at the bigger picture. Itās not just about the animals who come directly into our care. Itās about strengthening our community, supporting other organizations, and removing barriers that stand between animals and the help they need.
