Q: How much does it cost to ride the hunter pace? A: The cost is $40 per rider. Q: How do I register? A: No registration needed! Sign up at the registration table when you arrive, and head out any time between 8-11am. Teams go out when they're ready. Q: How long is the ride? A: The pace is usually between 6-8 miles, depending on footing conditions and the time of year. Q: Will the pace be cancelled if it rains. A: Our first concern is the safety of the horses and riders. When rain is in the forecast, we may need to reschedule to avoid damage to the parking areas and slippery conditions for horses. Q: How high are the jumps? A: The jumps are between 18" and 2'6". All jumps are optional! Q: How long does it take to complete the pace? A: The answer depends on how fast or slow you intend to ride. Walking only may take two hours, while trotting and catering could take an hour. The ideal pace is somewhere in between.
