We are SO excited to host Central Showcase Oklahoma this year!! ❤️🖤 These amazing bands have been working incredibly hard all season long, and we can’t wait for you to see all their hard work pay off! ✨

❤️ PRIDE OF YUKON SHOUTOUT 🖤

We are SO excited to recognize one of our very own, Mr. Kevin Kamau, for being selected as a member of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Class XXI 🎉👏

If you know Mr. Kamau, this recognition just makes sense! He truly is an iconic human being, and we are so lucky to have him! ❤️

Throughout his years with the Pride of Yukon, Mr. Kamau has built such a special connection with our students. He has a way of meeting them where they are, encouraging them, making them feel seen and supported, all while pushing them to be their best. Our students absolutely love him, and that speaks volumes about the kind of educator and leader he is.

As parents, we see it too. We appreciate the patience, energy, and genuine care he pours into our kids day in & day out. He has earned the respect and appreciation of so many of our band families, and we are incredibly thankful for the impact he continues to make on the Pride of Yukon.

We are so proud to see the leadership we’ve witnessed firsthand recognized beyond our band program and throughout the Oklahoma City community.

Congratulations, Mr. Kamau!! This recognition is VERY well deserved, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our Pride of Yukon family🎶👏❤️🖤
