Meet the Greek Litter: Sigma, Kappa, Delta, Theta, Omega, Phi, Tau & Beta!

You met them as newborns and now they’re ready to graduate from fosters to family!

Every great legacy starts somewhere, and for these eight puppies, it started with their mama, Legacy.

Legacy was a pregnant stray surviving on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. Life as a stray dog is difficult under the best circumstances, but being pregnant while homeless can be heartbreaking and dangerous. Thankfully, before she gave birth, Legacy was rescued by A Lab for Life and welcomed into a loving foster home where she safely delivered eight healthy, beautiful puppies.

Now these little brothers and sisters are thriving! Sigma, Kappa, Delta, and Theta are the girls of the group, while Omega, Phi, Tau, and Beta are the boys.

Raised with love from day one, they have been handled and socialized since birth and are growing into happy, confident, affectionate pups.

The litter currently lives on a farm where their days are filled with puppy adventures—chasing toys, wrestling with their siblings, exploring their surroundings, making new friends, and taking plenty of naps in the shade when playtime wears them out. They are curious, playful, and full of the joyful energy that makes puppyhood so special.

While they're enjoying life with their foster family, these pups are ready for their next chapter. They're looking to graduate from foster life to forever homes where they can continue learning, growing, and making memories with families of their own.

Meet DUKE!

DUKE is estimated to be around 1.5 years old. He and his brother were found wandering the streets in Oklahoma until they were picked up by animal control and brought to a local shelter. DUKE and his brother were rescued from the shelter and are both in a great foster home.

DUKE is a loving, affectionate and intelligent guy. He is house trained, crate trained and walks great on the leash. He is great with all the dogs in the home and has great manners with people of all ages, including kiddos! DUKE is looking for his forever home and any family would be lucky to have this guy!

🖤Sutton is the adventurous little lady of the pair. With one striking blue eye and one brown eye, she’s as unique as she is beautiful! She’s feisty, playful, and always ready for fun. Sutton loves attention, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is already mastering life in her foster home. She’s working hard on potty training and proudly taught herself how to use the doggy door like a pro!

🤎Pistol is a big-hearted boy with a chocolatey sweet personality to match his handsome looks. With his oversized paws and gentle nature, he’s the definition of a cuddle bug. She's a sweet, quiet 6 month old girl with the most beautiful soulful eyes!

Bridget may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, her adorable personality starts to shine. She’ll gently boop you with her nose and give the sweetest little kisses.

She loves carrying around and bouncing after her toys, happily entertaining herself and making you laugh with her playful spirit. Bridget is crate trained and potty trained. She’s also very quiet and her foster mom has never heard her bark.

Bridget would thrive with a playful dog friend to help continue building her confidence and show her the ropes. She is still working on leash training.

💜Meet CARLA!💜

CARLA is a 2 month old little cutie girl from our recent Cheers Litter. She is just the sweetest girl and is looking for a home of her own!

Her mom, a chocolate lab mix, was found as a stray in South Texas, bravely caring for her litter of TEN on her own. A kind Samaritan took the family in and reached out for help. A Lab for Life Rescue was happy to step up and give these little ones the fresh start they deserved.

CARLA and her siblings aren’t expected to be very big dogs. They’ll be the perfect size for any family/home! They’re playful, loving, and full of puppy charm. Like any young pups, they’re currently working on potty training and learning all about life as indoor family dogs.

CARLA’s foster home includes dogs big and small, and she loves them all. She also lives with cats and is comfortable around them. Whether she’s snuggling up for nap time or toddling around looking for adventure, CARLA is happiest when surrounded by friends, human and/or canines!

🖤Meet ACE! 🖤

This boy is 4 years old and he is a very good boy! He is house trained, plays well with other dogs, and is an all star snuggle bug - he would "crawl under your skin" if he could during snuggle time.

ACE is great with others and kiddos - has shown no reaction when kiddos give hugs, put hands in his mouth or have the accidental falls on him. He is a very patient and loving dog.

ACE loves to be around his people, no matter what they are doing. He does great on a leash but can give some tugs when he sees something or someone he is interested in.

ACE would do great as a solo boy or with other dogs in the home - bonus if they like to play chase!
