The runway was just the warm-up. Now we’re turning up the volume. 🎄⚡️

After the energy of Runway 313, BBBSSEM is keeping the creative momentum going with Jingle Bells & Power Cords: The Big Holiday Battle of the Bands.

We’re looking for local bands, solo artists, and duos ready to put their own spin on a holiday classic and rally their fans for something bigger than bragging rights.

This virtual holiday cover battle benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan, where every vote helps fuel mentorship for local kids and families.

Applications are free and easy, and you do not need a finished video to apply. Just bring your sound, your style, and your best holiday cover idea.

Big Tara and Little Maclaren are our Match of the Month for June 2026! When they were first matched, nearly 10 years ago, Maclaren was a kid. Now, she is graduating high school, finishing her associate’s degree, and heading toward college with big plans for what comes next. Tara has been there for every version of Maclaren: the busy student, the theater kid, the traveler, and the young woman making major life decisions. Flexibility is essential to their relationship. When Maclaren’s schedule got busier with school, jobs, extracurriculars, and college prep, these two stayed close with phone calls, texts, and postcards when Tara traveled. Their mentorship is more like a family connection, strong enough to withstand all the change that comes with almost a decade of life. It will have a lifelong positive impact on both of them.

Our Detroit Lions VIP Training Camp Experience, valued at $1,000, includes VIP Chalet passes for two, VIP parking, a private behind-the-scenes tour of the Detroit Lions Meijer Performance Center, player autograph access after practice, and an autographed Aidan Hutchinson jersey.
