Ever thought about running a marathon, but 26.2 miles feels impossible? This race was built for exactly that thought.

Every Woman's Marathon is the only marathon in the country designed by women, for women, and it shows. Nearly half the field are first-time marathoners. Real support, a welcoming crowd, and a finish line that feels like becoming a whole new version of yourself.

Now imagine doing it as a Girls on the Run SoleMate. Your race entry and swag? Covered, 100% free. You train, you fundraise, and every dollar goes straight to bringing Girls on the Run to more girls in our community.

You don't have to be a runner yet. You just have to be ready to become one.

Run for yourself. Run for girls. Run with purpose.

What a morning we have planned! 💜

We’re thrilled to welcome two incredible voices to our second annual Limitless Potential Breakfast on November 4th that you won't want to miss: Founder of Girls on the Run International Molly Barker and local Girls on the Run coach, educator, and community advocate Quanisha Shawanibin.

Molly started Girls on the Run in Charlotte, NC 1996 with just 13 girls and watched it grow into an international movement serving more than 2.5 million girls. Coach Quan is doing this work right here, right now in our community, helping girls build confidence, resilience, connection, and leadership.

Together, they’ll help us celebrate what Girls on the Run makes possible and share why it is more important than ever to create opportunities where every girl can discover her limitless potential.

We couldn’t do this without our amazing sponsors. A heartfelt thank you to our presenting sponsor, the Ann Arbor Track Club, along with Pearl Planning, bank of ann arbor, Megan Mazurek - Ann Arbor Area Real Estate, Zarminali Pediatrics, and Zee Zees! Your investment helps make confidence-building programming accessible to more girls in our community.

Join us for a morning of inspiring stories, joyful connection, and a reminder of what can happen when we believe in girls and invest in their potential.

📅 November 4
⏰ 7:30–9:30 a.m.
📍The Kensington Hotel, Ann Arbor

Thirty years ago, Molly Barker gathered with 13 girls in Charlotte, N.C., for the first season of Girls on the Run. As we celebrate that milestone, Girls on the Run CEO Elizabeth Kunz sat down with Molly for a special conversation reflecting on where we started, how we’ve grown, and what comes next.
