This will be partying with a purpose…This event is being hosted by Kravitz Delicatessen on the city’s North Side to benefit the the child, adult and family programs of the Autism Society of Ohio. Founded in 1990 as the local autism umbrella organization, A*O is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all affected by autism through information and referral, family support, advocacy, professional development, raising awareness and resource development. In addition to important information and referral, A*O provides the community with Social Connections, monthly outings for young adults, Advocacy and Exchange Networks, monthly education and support group for parents and Camp F.R.E.N.D., the region’s first day camp especially for those on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is also are the group that works with the local malls to bring Caring Santa and Caring Bunny events at the holidays. Join us in spreading the seasonal spirit of Gemütlichkeit! Your support of Oktoberfest will help us fund important programs for families struggling with their child’s diagnosis.
