We are SO EXCITED to welcome back our Cub Scouts and welcome all the new Scouts to our Pack in only two weeks! To celebrate, the committee is proud to present weeks of hard work putting together a jam-packed program schedule with lots of FUN!

We have CAMPING and CITIZENSHIP and SERVICE along with friendship and physical activity! It’s going to be an incredible year. HOWL! ✌️

Pack 9022 represented at the Mahoning Valley Scrappers game in early August for Scouting night. Hot dogs, popcorn, and cracker jacks were enjoyed by all after our parade with the other Scouts in attendance.

Pack 9022 had a terrific time at Custaloga Town Scout Reservation for our Summer Camp experience at the end of July.

Scouts got to tie dye shirts, shoot bows and arrows, BBs, fish, get in row boats, swim, participate in a campfire skit, make new friends, and camp in tents!

Pack 9022 has been busy this summer! At the end of May we celebrated all the achievements of our Scouts for earning their rank and crossing over the bridge to the next rank. We also celebrated Mr. Nate earning his Wood Badge beads.

On our Campout we had all kinds of fun! We hiked, played Gaga, and had a raingutter regatta. We completed a service project of refilling the wood at Akela and Baloo and found time to have friendship and fellowship around the campfire.

It was nice having our family dinner and we appreciate our Troop being so supportive and being an integral part of our ceremony.

Happy Fourth of July and 250th for America from Pack 9022! We enjoyed the opportunity to be in the Austintown parade again this year. HOWL! ✌️

Pack 9022 took time out of their day to celebrate Memorial Day and its importance by participating in the Austintown parade and ceremony.

Thank you to Miss Megan of Crafts Land Co. for the wonderful wreath to share at the ceremony.

Also, a shout out to our committee for their generous donation of a brand new Pack Flag that we were able to debut today.

Congratulations, Thomas! It’s been wonderful having him support our Pack events over the years and be a role model for our Cub Scouts.

This young man earned his rank of Eagle back in December, many inches of snow later, we finally got to celebrate with his Court of Honor today! Congratulations, Thomas! We are so proud of you and know you will accomplish great things!

On Saturday, April 18 we held our Spaghetti Dinner Signature Fundraiser and Pinewood Derby!

The funds from this dinner go to help pay to send Scouts to camp and prepare us for the next year.

The Pinewood Derby was a nail biter with the top three places being within a tenth to hundredth of a second difference!

One of the coolest things? We had a three-generation race where one of our Scouts raced against his uncle’s 25 year old car and his grandfather’s 50 year old car!

Thank you to all of our sponsors for supporting us with table space promotions and all of our fantastic racing sponsors who raced against each other in a friendly competition before the Scouts.

Adult training and recognition are an important part of Pack 9022. Recently, we were able to recognize Miss Kristen as the Stambaugh District Den Leader of the Year for her significant dedication to Pack 9022 at our District Dinner on April 12.

She is a BALOO trained leader with three Scouts between our Pack and Troop and has been a den leader for four years. It is because of her fun demeanor and engaging activities like making salsa and creating games to learn the Scout Law that her den has retained almost all of her Scouts with more joining each year.

In addition, she is a valued member of our Pack committee and always willing to help. In previous years, her and her husband have used their personal trailer to haul popcorn for delivery. She’s someone we can depend on to be there when prepping for spaghetti dinner and going to summer camp.

Furthermore, when planning events and activities for Pack meetings, she always has an activity prepared and is welcoming to all. We are so grateful to have Miss Kristen in our Pack! HOWL! ✌️
