Pack 9022 took time out of their day to celebrate Memorial Day and its importance by participating in the Austintown parade and ceremony.

Thank you to Miss Megan of Crafts Land Co. for the wonderful wreath to share at the ceremony.

Also, a shout out to our committee for their generous donation of a brand new Pack Flag that we were able to debut today.

Congratulations, Thomas! It’s been wonderful having him support our Pack events over the years and be a role model for our Cub Scouts.

This young man earned his rank of Eagle back in December, many inches of snow later, we finally got to celebrate with his Court of Honor today! Congratulations, Thomas! We are so proud of you and know you will accomplish great things!

On Saturday, April 18 we held our Spaghetti Dinner Signature Fundraiser and Pinewood Derby!

The funds from this dinner go to help pay to send Scouts to camp and prepare us for the next year.

The Pinewood Derby was a nail biter with the top three places being within a tenth to hundredth of a second difference!

One of the coolest things? We had a three-generation race where one of our Scouts raced against his uncle’s 25 year old car and his grandfather’s 50 year old car!

Thank you to all of our sponsors for supporting us with table space promotions and all of our fantastic racing sponsors who raced against each other in a friendly competition before the Scouts.

Adult training and recognition are an important part of Pack 9022. Recently, we were able to recognize Miss Kristen as the Stambaugh District Den Leader of the Year for her significant dedication to Pack 9022 at our District Dinner on April 12.

She is a BALOO trained leader with three Scouts between our Pack and Troop and has been a den leader for four years. It is because of her fun demeanor and engaging activities like making salsa and creating games to learn the Scout Law that her den has retained almost all of her Scouts with more joining each year.

In addition, she is a valued member of our Pack committee and always willing to help. In previous years, her and her husband have used their personal trailer to haul popcorn for delivery. She’s someone we can depend on to be there when prepping for spaghetti dinner and going to summer camp.

Furthermore, when planning events and activities for Pack meetings, she always has an activity prepared and is welcoming to all. We are so grateful to have Miss Kristen in our Pack! HOWL! ✌️

On Saturday, March 28 our Scouts had a chance to visit the Butler Art Museum in downtown Youngstown with their docent showing them all the cool paintings and installations. Thanks to the museum for hosting us and it sounds like some of our Scouts hope to return for another visit real soon! HOWL! ✌️

Thank you to everyone who supported us at our pancake breakfast! It is helping us send 22 scouts and 8 leaders to summer camp!! 🏕️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out today to support our Troop’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It was awesome to see so many friends and Cubs show their support.

Today was also very BUSY and so this is the only photo I have of the event. 😅 HOWL! ✌️

Three Scouts represented Pack 9022 at the District Pinewood Derby on Saturday, March 21 at the Eastwood Mall!

Our Tiger participated in a fierce group of racers, our Wolf won 2nd place in their den, and our Bear went all the way earning 1st place!
