Another successful Stambaugh Saturday in the books!

Several from our Troop spent several hours in the morning rebuilding a water spigot near one of the newly replaced water lines at Camp Stambaugh.

After lunch, our Scouts played games with our Pack in Akela and Baloo before being an integral part of the Pack’s Crossover ceremony where the Cub Scouts were recognized for achieving their ranks and preparing for their new Adventures.

It was also great to see our Assistant Scoutmaster Mr. McNatt earn his Wood Badge beads.

Troop 22 relished in the liquid sunshine (rain) last weekend while having the unique opportunity of camping at MAPS in Canton, OH.

Scouts had the opportunity to earn their Aviation merit badge in a series of 8 sessions where they learned about the physics of flying, safety, and craft their own paper airplanes.

In the evening, Scouts had the important experience of listening to veterans talk about their experiences as military pilots and medics in Vietnam and other conflicts.

It was a memorable (and soggy) experience they won’t soon forget!
