When our roof started to leak we immediately called Scott at Clear View Exteriors for the repair. He did the initial repair completely free of charge and then came the bad news....we needed a new roof.

This was a $15k expense. Neither the American Legion Post 164 Yelm or VFW Post 5580 has that kind of money. Scott said, NO PROBLEM!

He rounded up donations from His company Clear View Exteriors, SRS Distribution, Marques at Stoneway Nu Metals Inc. And all of the Employees.l at Clear View. Scott and his employees worked around our schedules here to make the least impact on our daily operations.

We are so impressed with Him and his company and thankful that they chose to help out local Veterans and give us this new roof so we can continue to serve the Veterans in our Community.

Running from 2012-2025, the United States of America Vietnam War 50th Commemoration Pinning Ceremony is an opportunity for Members of Congress to honor veterans of the Vietnam War era for their heroic service and pay tribute to their selfless contributions.
Congresswoman Strickland is honored to host the final ceremony on November, 10th 2025 for Vietnam veterans and their families in Washington’s 10th Congressional District. During the ceremony, the Congresswoman will present veterans with the commemorative lapel pin as a token of the nation’s gratitude.
