Memorial Day Services at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery was well represented by the Military Order of the Purple Heart Post 217, Polish Army Veterans Association Post 95 . Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1136, Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 74 and Klub Polonia of Wyandotte MI.. The Michigan State Representative, Rylee Linting was present with heartfelt good wishes for all families on this beautiful Day of Remembrance. Lastly PLAV Post 74 - Polish Legion of American Veterans invited All to a luncheon at their Post 74. It was a beautiful day with an lovely Mass Service by Father Steven and Deacon Bloomfield of Our Lady of the Scapular Parish.
W uroczystościach z okazji Memorial Day, odbywających się na katolickim cmentarzu Mt. Carmel, licznie reprezentowane były następujące organizacje: Military Order of the Purple Heart – Placówka nr 217, Stowarzyszenie Weteranów Armii Polskiej – Placówka nr 95, Veterans of Foreign Wars – Placówka nr 1136, Polish Legion of American Veterans – Placówka nr 74 oraz Klub Polonia z Wyandotte w stanie Michigan. Obecna była również stanowa przedstawicielka Michigan, Rylee Linting, która przekazała serdeczne życzenia wszystkim rodzinom w ten piękny Dzień Pamięci. Na zakończenie Polish Legion of American Veterans (PLAV) – Placówka nr 74 zaprosiła wszystkich uczestników na uroczysty obiad do swojej siedziby. Był to piękny dzień, uświetniony wzruszającą mszą świętą odprawioną przez księdza Stevena oraz diakona Bloomfielda z parafii Matki Bożej od Szkaplerza.
