Help relieve food insecurity by bringing a can to our show this Saturday THE ODD FELLOW CONCERT LOUNGE - SURF๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธGARAGE๐ŸคPUNK ROCK๐Ÿคฎ we are helping to stock blessing boxes at St.Stephenโ€™s Episcopal Church and PLAV Post 74 - Polish Legion of American Veterans. The one at St. Stephenโ€™s is running a bit low.

Recently opened a copy of this book written by our namesake Kim Allegrina-Henderly which was her true to life sharing of her battle with cancer and the unspoken horrible side effects of chemotherapy. Itโ€™s been awhile since Iโ€™ve read her words. It brought me right back to sitting on the couch in her living room and hearing from her how the cancer and chemotherapy was affecting her. Seeing her slow decline. Holding her hand for a brief moment as she lay unconscious at home in hospice. Then saying goodbye. Although I have these memories, I have so many more powerful ones of her thunderous laughter, raunchy sense of humor, expansive knowledge of music and pop culture, her way of really listening and giving useful advice in return, and her lust for life. It reminds me that life is pain, but it is also joy. It reminds me to be there when I am needed. So feel as much joy today as you can to carry you through when the pain returns and be there when you are needed. ~Be Well My Friends.

We need your help. We are looking to help Mr. James Chalastawaโ€™s Go Fund Me raise $1,800 to replace his furnace. He is a senior citizen and blind. Social Security doesnโ€™t pay enough to live on let alone pay for a new furnace. Be Well My Friends is able to donate $1,800 of the quoted $3,600. His friends created the Go Fund Me to help him raise the matching $1,800. Donate any amount you are able to. Thanks and Merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ
