Horizons Academy An EUTR Program

Our Middle & High School students learn in intentionally small classes with a maximum 1:8 ratio—and our recommended three-day program keeps strong academics at the center while giving families flexibility.

Brooke Hudson is our Math, Science, and Physical Education/Fitness Instructor! She is one with a heart of gold, brings joy to her students, loves the outside, and loves project based learning!

Students receive instruction in Financial Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry and advanced math, along with Zoology through Biology, labs and hands-on science. Brooke also teaches PE, Health & Nutrition, including fitness, strength and conditioning, nutrition and practical wellness.

No huge classrooms. No getting lost in the crowd. Just strong academics, small classes and an educational alternative that gives families another choice.

STEAM AND STEM AND NATURE EXPLORATIONS IS WHERE IT IS ON FRIDAYS! These youngsters are going to get to do nature walks, excursions, scavenger hunts, STEAM/STEM, microscope experiences, and just be kids having so much fun. We get to experience walks in nature, hunting for bugs, crickets, and who knows what other creature!

That's exactly what we're hoping to create with our new Horizons Enrichment Explorers Club.

Every Friday, students will have the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom through outdoor exploration, nature studies, science investigations, creative projects, movement, and meaningful friendships. We believe some of the best learning happens when children are encouraged to ask questions, explore, create, and simply enjoy being kids.

This program is designed for homeschool families looking for a fun, engaging day where children can build friendships, develop confidence, and experience hands-on learning in a safe and encouraging environment.

Middle school is a time when students should be challenged, encouraged, and excited about learning. That's exactly what we're building at Horizons Academy.

Our Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday Middle School Program provides strong academics in a smaller classroom environment where students are known by name, supported by experienced educators, and encouraged to become independent learners.
