Food Pantry serving all those who are food insecure throughout McHenry County -- all through the supp

Neighbors Food Pantry exists to create partnerships throughout Wonder Lake and McHenry County to reach out and provide resources to all those who are food insecure in our community. God gives us every good gift, and it is our responsibility to help those who are most vulnerable among us. Through partnering with church congregations, civic organizations, local businesses, volunteers, and individual donors -- we are able to share that good gift of food to all in need. Our stock is getting low and Northern IL Food Bank is currently out of many of our staple items! Here’s our current needs list:
Macaroni and Cheese
Pasta Noodles and Sauce
Pancake Mix and Syrup
Soups and Ramen
Canned Fruits
Canned Tuna
Boxed Potatoes and Boxed Dinner Kits

Our address is 3506 East Wonder Lake Rd, we do have a covered bin outside of our door that donations can be left in. The bin is checked numerous times a day!

🌟 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🌟

Wonder Lake Neighbors Food Pantry is looking for a few strong, able-bodied volunteers to help support our mission of serving our neighbors in need.

We especially need help on **Wednesday mornings from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon** with:

📦 Unloading food deliveries
🥫 Stocking pantry shelves
🚚 Moving boxes and supplies
🤝 Supporting our pantry operations behind the scenes

These tasks are essential to keeping our pantry running smoothly and ensuring that food is available for the families we serve.

If you are willing and able to lend a hand, even occasionally, we would love to hear from you! Your time and effort make a real difference in our community.
