One of our 4VALOR partner groups, the Sasquatch Research Group, is heading into the field for a special research expedition on August 29, 2026.

The expedition will bring together field researchers and a special guest from Sasquatch Origins for a day focused on exploration, cryptozoology, discovery, and time in the outdoors.

We are proud to support partner organizations that create unique opportunities for people to connect, explore, and build community.

Central Florida divers, the weekend to shop for gear is coming up.

Join us August 21–22 at Isla Divers in Casselberry for the 4VALOR Community Dive Gear Sale & Fundraiser.

Whether you are building your first setup, upgrading your equipment, preparing for travel, or simply looking for a great deal, Isla Divers will have something for you.

This is a great opportunity to compare equipment, ask questions, get properly fitted, and work directly with the Isla Divers team to find gear that fits your diving needs and budget.

You can also enter the 4VALOR giveaways free on site throughout Friday and Saturday. No purchase or donation is required to enter. Giveaway entry will also be available Sunday morning at Lake Denton.

Ready to learn how to scuba dive?

4VALOR and Divers are giving one lucky winner an SSI Open Water Diver course and Nitrox specialty package valued at $699.

The course package includes:

• SSI Open Water Diver training
• Nitrox specialty training
• E-learning and instructor fees
• Use of a regulator, octopus, BCD, and dive computer
• Tanks and weights
• Semi-private class setup

Important personal gear requirement: Personal dive gear is not included in the prize. Before beginning the course, the winner will be responsible for purchasing their own properly fitted mask, snorkel, dive boots, fins, wetsuit, surface marker buoy, and mesh gear bag at their own expense.

The Isla Divers team will help the winner select properly fitting equipment and offers excellent package deals and discounted pricing on the required personal gear. This helps ensure the winner begins training with equipment that fits correctly and can continue using it after certification.

August 23 at Lake Denton Camp during the 4VALOR Community Dive Day. Sunday giveaway entries close at 11:00 AM.

The winner will be selected at random at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 23. You do not need to be present to win. The winner will be contacted directly after eligibility is confirmed and publicly announced Sunday evening or no later than Monday, August 24.

No purchase, donation, dive registration, or payment is required to enter or win. One free entry per person. Course participation is subject to Isla Divers’ standard scheduling, paperwork, medical, and eligibility requirements. A parent or guardian must complete the required paperwork for a minor.

Lake Denton Camp is not just for divers. Bring the whole family and join us on Sunday, August 23, for the 4VALOR Community Dive Day at Lake Denton Camp in Avon Park.

Families, friends, supporters, and non-divers are all invited to enjoy the crystal-clear lake, designated swimming area, swim toys, 100-foot slip ’n slide for all ages, food, and a full day with the 4VALOR community. Guests can also relax and cool off on the camp’s large covered back deck while enjoying the view of the lake.

The day will include veteran and community diving, swimming and lake activities, food, giveaway winner announcements, and plenty of time to connect with veterans, divers, families, and supporters.

You do not have to dive to attend. Non-divers and family members attend at no cost and will simply complete a liability form on site.
