If you haven’t submitted yet, we will be onsite to collect completed paper proxies:

Even if you plan to attend the meeting, submitting your proxy ahead of time helps:

FYI HIGHLANDS RESIDENTS: Beginning Monday, January 5, 2026, the City of Winter Springs Utilities will begin conducting citywide fire hydrant inventory and inspection. Map of Fire Hydrant Locations are attached.

The city's contractors will inspect and inventory all 1,200 public fire hydrants to ensure they are maintained and in proper working order.

As part of the process, crews will open hydrants to check flow rates and pressure to ensure each hydrant is cataloged correctly.

Work will be performed Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Discoloration Water Notice:

Customers are advised if they see discolored water at their tap, they should allow their cold-water faucet to run for several minutes or until the discoloration clears.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🦃

🎾Tennis / Pickleball Court Update 🎾

The courts should be OPEN by NOVEMBER 30.

The installers have one final check to make sure the paint and resurfacing is fully cured and dry. If it looks good, we'll be reopening this weekend so we can all get some good exercise following the holiday feast!

REMINDER: Tennis Courts Closed for Resurfacing This Week - Tentative Reopening Date - Next Week.

REMINDER: Trails by Marni Bridge Closed for Repairs Until Further Notice.

Just a friendly reminder for everyone that while the tennis courts are being resurfaced, there is no entry allowed.

Same for the trails near Marni. The trails that are closed are clearly marked with signage and a permanent chain link barricade. (Don't worry, you can't miss it.) The barricade is over 6 ft tall with a large "NO TRESPASSING" sign on it. The trail is completely blocked at those points at the direction of Winter Springs while we make repairs.

Trespassing will be reported immediately to the Winter Springs Police Department.

Please, DO NOT attempt to crawl around, remove, or bypass the trail barricades. They are there for your safety.

If you see anyone entering the closed courts or trails, tampering with the gates or barricades, or causing vandalism, please call Winter Springs Police immediately.

Thank you all for your help in keeping everyone safe while we make these necessary improvements and repairs.

UPDATE: RESURFACING BEGINS MONDAY, NOV 10
🎾Upcoming Tennis Court Resurfacing Dates: Monday, Nov 10 - Friday, Nov 24.🎾

The tennis and pickleball courts will be closed on the following dates for resurfacing - Nov 6 - Nov 24.

🔐The gate will be locked for the duration of the project for safety and to allow the surface to fully cure.

Dates may change slightly due to weather, but the whole process should take about 2 weeks.

***IMPORTANT NOTE: ***
🛑⚠️DO NOT ENTER THE COURTS UNTIL THEY ARE OFFICIALLY REOPENED⚠️🛑

It takes SEVERAL days for the surface to fully cure, so even though they will look complete before the end date, it is critical that no one enters the courts or plays on them until they are officially reopened.

🚨🚔Any trespassing during court closure will be reported to Winter Springs Police.🚨
