This Adopt A Highway group was created to honor Madeline Kingsbury.
Maddi took every opportunity to do her part to improve the world for the future generations. There's more to it than most people are aware of. Did you know that each person throws away about 1,500 pounds of garbage each year? Some of this garbage is on our roadways. Leaving garbage wherever it lands is dangerous. It will invite insects to spread diseases. It will harm wildlife. It will damage our ecosystem.
While this page will be used to update everyone on scheduled clean up days, I'll also be using it to spread awareness of the dangers littering poses and ways to reduce waste.
