Today is the day! Come on out to Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wi******er for our Annual Meeting! Drive-through registration is underway.

Tomorrow is the day! Join us for our Annual Meeting at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wi******er on June 13th. Drive-through registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and the meeting begins at 10:00 a.m.

Touchstone Energy Cooperative's hot air balloon will be on site for members to enjoy a short, tethered ride, weather permitting. We will also have kids' activities, refreshments, prize drawings, and more. As a reminder, all members receive a $15 bill credit at registration. We hope to see you all there!

Meet our summer interns! Joining us this summer as interns: Jase Morton, Jack Wisdom, Lane Hubbard, Thomas Meehan V, Addy Blimling, Julia Wahl, and Kylie Kinser. Our internship program has a long history, and we've been fortunate to have had dozens of smart, talented young adults working with us on meaningful projects.

Interns at the co-op perform a wide range of tasks, from taking phone calls and assisting members to working alongside line crews in the field and handling a variety of jobs. Their contributions help keep the co-op running smoothly and give them valuable hands-on experience in the utility industry.

A little more about our interns:

Jase Morton of Chambersburg is a 2025 Meredosia High School graduate. He is attending Lincoln Land Community College to earn an associate's degree in the Electrical Distribution Lineman program.

Jack Wisdom of Wi******er is a 2024 Routt Catholic High School graduate. He graduated from Northwest Iowa Community College’s Powerline School in 2026.

Lane Hubbard of Pleasant Hill is a 2025 Pleasant Hill High School graduate. He graduated from Southeast Lineman Training Center in December 2025.

Thomas Meehan V of Jacksonville will be a senior at Routt Catholic High School and a student in the Morgan-Scott CEO program.

Julia Wahl of Wi******er is a 2025 Wi******er High School graduate. She will be a sophomore at Lincoln Land Community College, majoring in Nursing.

Addy Blimling of Murrayville is a 2024 Jacksonville High School graduate. She will be a junior at Illinois College, majoring in Business Administration.

Kylie Kinser of Greenfield is a 2023 Greenfield High School graduate. She will be a senior at Western Illinois University, majoring in Speech Pathology.

Co-op crews spent part of a morning this week taking part in pole top and bucket truck rescue training. Levi Vogt, Training and Safety Instructor for the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives, led the training exercises. This training is done on an annual basis for all outdoor crews.

With the school year wrapping up, we wanted to take a moment to thank all the schools that welcomed us throughout the year to share about electrical safety. Whether it was Buckey interacting with the elementary school classes or sharing about downed electrical lines with driver's ed classes, we appreciate the students and faculty's time and attention.
