The Smart Start Network is deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton. Her belief that every child deserves access to books and the opportunity to develop a love of reading transformed the lives of countless children and families.

Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the Smart Start Network is honored to help bring free books and the joy of reading to children across North Carolina—helping families build connections, spark curiosity, and nurture a lifelong love of learning.

We will continue carrying forward her vision and remain committed to helping children build strong foundations for lifelong success. Her legacy will live on every time a child opens a book and discovers the joy of reading.

The Wilson County Partnership for Children (WCPFC) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant.

This is a full-time position responsible for coordinating the administrative operations of the Partnership and ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the office. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Executive Director, Finance Manager, and Program Coordinators to provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support.

Minimum Qualifications:
✔️ Associate degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
✔️ Experience in accounting preferred
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software applications
✔️ Knowledge of administrative systems and office management practices
✔️ Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills with exceptional attention to detail
✔️ Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
✔️ Valid North Carolina driver's license
