Willington Career Firefighters - IAFF Local 3831 responded to an overnight rollover motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Willington Hill Rd. At the time of the call, LIFE STAR was started by the dispatch center due to reports from the scene. Units arrived within 7 minutes of dispatch and extricated one patient within 10 minutes of arrival. Additional support, including manpower and equipment, was requested from Mansfield Career Firefighters L4120, as well as a second ambulance from IAFF Local S-15 UConn Fire-Rescue and paramedics from Windham Hospital and AMR Rockville. One patient was transported to a landing zone for transport to the hospital, and another was transported by Willington Firefighters to a local trauma center. Over night Willington Career Firefighters - IAFF Local 3831 responded to a report of a structure fire on the north end of town. Quick response and fire attack led to holding the fire in the room of origin.

Et113 arrived within 8 minutes of dispatch and operated for around 2 hours before returning to service.

The Willington Fire Department is currently operating on 2 separate Diesel Fuel leaks in the area of X71 WB. At this time both leaks have been stopped and units are awaiting the arrival of DEEP. Use caution in the area.

On Wednesday April 15th, at approximately 22:47 hours, ET-113 was dispatched on a second alarm to the Town of Tolland for a working structure fire. ET-113 was the first apparatus on scene and initiated fire attack. ET-113 remained on scene for the duration and returned in service shortly after.
